Prom King and Queen

Congratulations to this year's Prom King and Queen, "Smilin'" Seth Merrit and Rebekah Hale!  Prom was a huge success this year, and as always, the Pioneers had lots of fun!  Thanks to the Junior Class Sponsors for all their hard work and help!  We never could have done it without you!  Please feel free to view the slide show by clicking this link to see how fabulous everyone looked!

Prom

Come join the Pioneers at the Marshall University Student Center for an Arabian Paradise!  Prom tickets are $45 single, $55 couple.  Prom will be held May 1, 2010, at Marshall University.  Promenade begins at 7 PM, and prom will be 8-11:30 PM.  Come join your friends at PROM!

Congratulations, Jordan Reeves!
We are pleased to announce the winner of the 2010 Wayne High School Talent Show! 

Our winner is Mr. Jordan Reeves, a senior at Wayne High School.  Jordan is the son of Ronda Davis. He is a resident of Genoa, WV.  He is an extremely talented and well-rounded individual.  He covered Kenny Wayne Shepherd's "Blue on Black" as well as performing his own song, "Alabama."  He won $50.00.  

Congratulations, Jordan!  We are extremely proud of you!

Congratulations Shannon Rutherford and Track Team

Congratulations to Shannon rutherford for her outstanding performance in Point Pleasant this past weekend.  She was the high point winner and the most outstanding track athelte at the meet.  She won the 400, 800, and 4x400 relay.  Other 4x400 relay members were Tyler Webb, Chelsea Crabtree and Haley Reed. Shannon also placed 2nd in the long jump.  Well done, Shannon and team!

Skills USA Award Winners Announced

CONGRATULATIONS to the following students for their impressive placement at this past weekend's Skills USA competition:

1st place--Mark Ross
2nd place--Josh Watts
3rd place--Chase Perry, rebekah Hale, Jessica Cox, Ashley Booton and Jessica Corns

Mark Ross will go on to compete this summer at the National Skills USA competition in Kansas City!  Congratulations to these outstanding students!
