Congratulations go out to Mr. Miller and the Robotics Team!  They placed 1st in INNOVATION this past weekend at a national competition in Cincinnati, and placed 8th in the Robotic Competitive Division!  There were 22 teams from various states, and only 3 teams from West Virginia (Wayne, Charleston Catholic, and Tug Valley).  The competition involved the students receiving specifications of what the robot must do--in this case, shoot a ball through a goal.  Through a team effort, and combined curriculums of science, math, engineering, and technology, they built a competitive robot.  These students and their sponsor have spent countless hours after school sketching, analyzing, building and problem-solving, and have involved community support.  This is Wayne's second year of this program.  Congratulations, Mr. Miller and Team!
